Banner shows wrong translation even though there’s no text in the theme editor

Why this happens:​

This occurs because a translation still exists in the target language. When you delete the content in the default language, it no longer appears there, but it can still be displayed in the translated version.

Solution:​

  • Before deleting any content in the default language, please make sure to remove the translation in the target language first.
  • After the translation is removed, the content will disappear correctly across all languages.

Example​

  • Default (English) → content deleted
  • Target (French, German, etc.) → translation still exists → banner still shows ✅ Fix: delete the translation in the target language first → then remove in default
